The Snowman Scram 5K Run/Walk and 1 mile fun run is a fun wintertime event designed as a fundraiser for the Pentwater Cross Country and Track Teams.
Date: February 14th, 2026
TIME: 1 Mile Fun Run starts at 11:00am with the 5K run/walk to follow.
LOCATION: Start and finish by the bus barn/track at the school.
ENTRY FEES: $25.00 for 1 mile Fun Run
$35.00 for 5K run/walk
* Packet pick up will be in the lobby of the school. You can also use the gym to warm up!
*Water will be available at the finish.
*Refreshments will be available in the cafeteria after the race. There will be many door prizes!
*Live music by Canopy Space while we wait for race results!
*We are also offering a virtual option. All 5K virtual runners will receive a tech long-sleeve t-shirt and finisher medal. It can either be picked up or mailed for an extra cost.
*Packet pick up and same day registration begins at 9:30. All runners must be registered by 10:30! Please note those who register the day of will likely not receive a shirt.
*We will be providing chip timing for the race! Results will be very quick!
*Course is flat and all on paved roads.
*A LONG SLEEVE TECH T-shirt is included with all pre-registered participants (by February 1st). Day of registrants and registrations after February 1st will not likely receive shirts.

*Trophies for the oldest and youngest 5K finisher.
*Trophy for the finisher in the middle of the pack in the 5K race.

There is the also the opportunity to participate in the Snowman Scram Virtually, You can still help out the Pentwater Cross Country and Track teams and complete your 5K run/walk anywhere and when it's convenient for you. All virtual participants will receive a long sleeve t-shirt and finisher medal. I will not be accepting race results for an opportunity at the age group medals. However, you can still post a picture and your time on the Facebook Event Page "Snowman Scram 2026."
