Starting and finishing at the bus barn/track at the school, the course features flat, paved roads perfect for runners and walkers alike. With entry fees set at just $25 for the 1 Mile Fun Run and $35 for the 5K, everyone can take part in this festive occasion. Enjoy amenities like packet pickup in the school lobby and warm-up access to the gym, along with refreshments available in the cafeteria post-race. Plus, don’t miss the chance to win door prizes and medals for the top finishers in various age categories! The Snowman Scram 5K Run/Walk and 1 mile fun run is a fun wintertime event designed as a fundraiser for the Pentwater Cross Country and Track Teams.
Date: February 8th 2025
TIME: 1 Mile Fun Run starts at 11:00am with the 5K run/walk to follow.
LOCATION: Start and finish by the bus barn/track at the school.
ENTRY FEES: $25.00 for 1 mile Fun Run
$35.00 for 5K run/walk
* Packet pick up will be in the lobby of the school. You can also use the gym to warm up!
*Water will be available at the finish.
*Refreshments will be available in the cafeteria after the race. There will be a few door prizes!
*We are also offering a virtual option. All 5K virtual runners will receive a long-sleeve t-shirt and finisher medal. It can either be picked up or mailed.
*Packet pick up and same day registration begins at 9:30. All runners must be registered by 10:30! Please note those who register the day of will likely not receive a shirt.
*We will be providing chip timing for the race! Results will be very quick!
*Course is flat and all on paved roads.
*A LONG SLEEVE T-shirt is included with all pre-registered participants (by January 30th). Day of registrants and registrations after January 30th will not likely receive shirts.
*Finishers medals for all 1 mile fun runners (only guaranteed with pre-registration by January 30th).

There is the also the opportunity to participate in the Snowman Scram Virtually, You can still help out the Pentwater Cross Country and Track teams and complete your 5K run/walk anywhere and when it's convenient for you. All virtual participants will receive a long sleeve t-shirt and finisher medal. I will not be accepting race results for an opportunity at the age group medals. However, you can still post a picture and your time on the Facebook Event Page "Snowman Scram 2023."
