In addition to the run, we're thrilled to offer a SOAR 5K WALK for those who prefer a leisurely stroll, also following the same picturesque course. Families can participate together, and kids aged 12 and under can look forward to the SOAR KIDS FUN RUN, a non-competitive 1K event that winds through the lovely Welchester Tree Grant Park. Best of all, registration for children is free! Don’t miss out on the chance to support the Welchester PTA's efforts to upgrade playground areas that are over 20 years old. Be sure to register before April 10 to guarantee your T-shirt size and enjoy a $5 discount per registrant for families registering together. Get ready

Welchester Elementary School PTA is proud to host the third annual SOAR 5K!
All proceeds will support the Welchester PTA's efforts including those at upgrading our playground areas that are 20+ years old!
Sign-up for the SOAR 5K RUN (3.1 miles) that includes a scenic double loop course around Daniels Park and the Welchester Elementary community. Enjoy the challenge of lower grade hills in this event that is open to runners of all ages and abilities.
A great alternative to the Run, the SOAR 5K WALKers will follow the runners along the same 3.1 mile course including a two loops around Daniels Park. The walk is for all ages and fitness levels, so your entire family can participate.
