Join us on Saturday, February 13, 2027, at the picturesque WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, Wake, for a day filled with fun, fitness, and community spirit. Whether you prefer running, walking, rolling, or strolling, there’s something for everyone with race distances including a 5K and a 6.5-mile option.
This year, you have the unique opportunity to team up with a partner for the race, competing for awards based on combined times, or you can race solo as usual. With a mass start at 8:45 AM for the Fun Mile and 9:00 AM for the 5K and 6.5 Mile, the atmosphere will be electric! Participants will receive a finisher's medal, a gift, and a chance to win fantastic prizes totaling over $7,000, including awards for age groups and new course records. Participants can choose to run the race individually (as usual) or they can team up with a partner (separate awards for both categories!). Instead of placing by their individual race times, partners will instead place by their combined times. Run together and win together! We might call it "Sole Mates" but it doesn't matter if you pair up with your spouse, kids, significant other, best buddy, or neighbor.
All races will have a mass start at 8:45 AM for the Fun Mile and 9:00 AM for the 5K / 6.5 Mile and the course closes for all races at 11:30 AM (IN-PERSON RACE DAY SCHEDULE [https://runsignup.com/Race/SoleMates/Page-5]).
