Join us on October 14th for a Halloween Themed 5K Road Race and Family Fall Festival. The Start and Finish will be at South County YMCA, 165 Broad Rock Rd Wakefield, RI 02879, with the race kicking off at 8:30am. The route includes the beautiful backroads of Wakefield RI at the peak of Fall Foliage.
Our event is more than just a race; it's an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those around us. Your participation in our first annual road race will continue to allow our Y to say yes to those who need us most. All proceeds from the race go directly to the South County YMCA and will provide financial assistance and scholarships to ensure that individuals and families have access to the programming, services, and resources they need. Your support strengthens our community and our mission to welcome all. Our road race is family-friendly and walkable.
Awards will be given in the following categories:
1st Place Overall M/F
1st Place M/F under 12, 12-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-48, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
T-shirt included with all preregistration. Special pricing for those under 12 - $15 until 10/13, $25 on race day.
The Post Race Fall Festival will continue at the SCYMCA from 9:00am to 12:00pm and includes:
* Post Race Refreshments
* Costume Contest
* Bounce House
* Kid's Obstacle Race
* Gaga Pit
* Crafts
Discounts for groups and teams. When 10 or more participants sign up on a team together, every member of the team automatically receives $5 refunded on their entry. For groups of 6-9, share your unique referral code and when 5 runners sign up with your code, you receive $20 refunded on your entry.
Bib pick up will take place right at the YMCA, starting at 7am.
