Event summary
Participants can start their day with check-in and race day registration beginning at 6:30 AM. The courses are designed to be flat with just a few gently rolling hills, making it accessible for everyone. Not only will all registered participants receive a t-shirt if they sign up by March 29th, but there are also fantastic prizes for the top three male and female runners in each five-year age group, along with special awards for those who tackle all three events. Enjoy light refreshments while celebrating your accomplishments at the finish line, and join the River to River Runners Club Championship Series for a memorable day of fitness and community spirit!
Organiser's Description
THE 10K RUN IS SET FOR 7:30AM ON SATURDAY, APRIL 11 AT THE CRAB ORCHARD NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE.
The Micro Marathon will start at 9:30 am, and the PeeWee Marathon will start at 10:30 am.
Check-in and race day registration begins at 6:30am.
ALL COURSES START AND END AT THE NEW REFUGE HEADQUARTERS LOCATED ON HEADQUARTERS ROAD, JUST WEST OF RT 148.
THE COURSES ARE FLAT WITH A FEW SMALL, GENTLY ROLLING HILLS.
ALL RACE PARTICIPANTS REGISTERED BY MARCH 29TH ARE GUARANTEED A T-SHIRT. THERE ARE ALSO PRIZES FOR THE TOP THREE MALE AND FEMALE RUNNERS IN EACH FIVE-YEAR AGE GROUP, AS WELL AS THE OVERALL WINNER.
There will be special awards for participants who participate in all three events.
LIGHT REFRESHMENTS WILL BE PROVIDED.
