Participants will tackle an approximately 10-mile course that weaves through stunning pine and hardwood forests, offering a mix of looping singletrack, thrilling descents, gravel crossings, and scenic wildlife sightings. It's a perfect opportunity to escape the urban hustle and immerse yourself in nature right within the Perimeter.
Runners of all ages and abilities are invited to join the fun, with awards for the top finishers in various categories, including overall male, female, and non-binary, as well as age divisions. Expect some exciting swag, including a stylish shirt designed by Hilary K. and a unique finisher award. Join us for a day full of camaraderie, competition, and community spirit, all while supporting MTB Atlanta in their efforts to build and maintain trails in the area. Organiser's Description
Atlantas _only intown trail race_, hosted at Southside Park, the citys sole trail system and one of its best-kept secrets. Runners will enjoy miles of looping singletrack, roller coaster descents, gravel-strewn stream crossings, powerline climbs, rock hazards, marsh passings and wildlife sightings, right in their back yards. This approximately 10-mile course through pine- and hardwood-shaded forests will leave them doubting they are inside the Perimeter. All proceeds from the race will benefit MTB Atlanta, the Southside Park trail builders, to help create and steward trails for all in and around Atlanta.
