Get ready for an exciting day of mountain biking at the Spooky Catalyst on Saturday, October 26, 2024, in the beautiful Makanda, Williamson! This thrilling event will take place on the professionally-designed MTB trails at SIU's Touch of Nature, offering a fantastic experience for riders of all skill levels. Participants can choose from three racing categories: Advanced (13+) with 3 laps, Intermediate (13+) with 2 laps, and Beginners (13+) and Youth (12 & under) tackling 1 lap, each ranging between 8 and 9 miles.

The fun kicks off at 9 AM with registration, followed by a racer pre-talk at 9:45 AM, and the races starting at 10 AM. Don't miss the Youth Race, beginning shortly after, and be prepared for a celebratory podium ceremony around 1:30 PM where the top three male and female riders in each category will be recognized. Enjoy refreshments, including Gatorade and snacks included with registration, and be sure to wear your best costume for a chance to join in the festive spirit.
