Kickstart your New Year with an exhilarating challenge at the Sri Chinmoy New Year's Day Half-Marathon on Thursday, January 1, 2026, in the scenic Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens, New York. This exciting event features a fast, USATF certified course that includes a 0.35-mile start loop followed by ten 1.27-mile loops around iconic landmarks such as the World's Fair Unisphere and the Queens Museum of Art. Runners can enjoy a festive atmosphere with free parking, bag check, aid stations every mile, and a delicious post-race pancake breakfast to refuel after the race!
With a 9 AM start time, participants aged 16 and older can set their sights on completing the half-marathon within a 3-hour limit. THE COURSE
A scenic, "pancake flat" and fast USATF certified 1.27-mile loop starting near the intersection of Ave. of Commerce and Ave. of Progress, passing the iconic World's Fair Unisphere, Queens Museum of Art and Fountain of the Planets.
Half-Marathon = one 0.35-mile start loop + ten 1.27-mile loops
RACE PACKET SHIPPING
Choose Packet Shipping when registering ($6.95), to avoid the lines on race day and have your shirt and bib delivered to your door before the race. Available through Dec. 18. Packets will ship out en masse on Dec. 20.
Otherwise, packet pickup is available at the race site from 8-8:45AM.

3 hours, or a 13:45/mile minimum pace. (12 noon cutoff)
AGE RESTRICTIONS
Participants must be 16 years or older as of race-day to compete.
