Get ready to kick off your St. Patrick's Day celebrations at the 9th annual St. Paddy's Leprechaun Chase and Children's Wee Chase on Saturday, March 15, 2025, in Holland, Ottawa! This vibrant and festive event features a 5K run for participants of all ages, along with a special quarter-mile Children's Wee Chase for kids aged 4-8. The 5K will begin at 9:00 AM from the Holland Civic Center, where runners can don their best green outfits and Irish costumes to celebrate the occasion. Finisher and age group medals will be awarded to the top three participants, and every runner will receive a commemorative shirt.
The fun doesn't stop there! The Children's Wee Chase kicks off at 8:30 AM, providing a fantastic opportunity for young ones to experience the thrill of racing. After the races, join us for delicious snacks, including hot chocolate, coffee, and donut holes, at the Holland Civic Center. Plus, don't miss out on the Holland Farmers Market happening on race day, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Kick off your St. Patricks Day celebration on SATURDAY, MARCH 15, 2025 at the Holland Running Club's 9th annual ST. PADDY'S LEPRECHAUN CHASE 5K AND CHILDREN'S WEE CHASE! PARTICIPANTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO DRESS FOR THE OCCASION - we love seeing your green outfits and Irish costumes!
* This is a fundraising event hosted by the Holland Running Club (HRC) [https://www.hollandrunningclub.org/] with proceeds benefiting the West Michigan Chapter of myTEAM TRIUMPH [https://mttwestmichigan.org/], an organization that is dedicated to providing the experience of road racing to individuals with disabilities.
* THE WEE CHASE STARTS FROM THE CIVIC CENTER AT 8:30 AM. Children ages 4-8 years old are encouraged to participate. This course will be a quarter mile course around the Holland Civic Center. Registration is free, but parents of the little lads and lasses must sign them up ahead of time.
* THE 5K STARTS FROM THE CIVIC CENTER AT 9:00 AM. Finisher and age group medals (top 3) will be awarded. All participants will receive a shirt, unless opting out.

* NOTE: Strollers will be allowed on the course, but please line up toward the back of the crowd! Unfortunately, dogs are _not _allowed on the course (except for service dogs, of course).
