Event summary
Get ready to kick off St. Patrick's Weekend in style at the inaugural St. Pa"Trucks" Day 5K and Beer Mile, taking place on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the scenic Big Truck Farm Brewery in Queenstown, Queen Annes. This exciting event features a thrilling 5K trail run starting at 9:00 AM, where participants will navigate an out-and-back course that winds through picturesque fields and gentle grades of the farm. All racers aged 21 and up will receive a beer token and a commemorative shirt to celebrate their achievement.
Following the 5K, the fun continues with the Beer Mile, which kicks off around 10:30 AM. Participants will tackle a quarter-mile loop four times, consuming a 12-ounce can of beer before each lap. With waves of racers starting every 20 minutes from 10:40 AM to 2:40 PM, there’s plenty of opportunity to join in the festivities. Food will be available for purchase from EZ Access Eats Food Truck, and additional brews will be on tap from Big Truck Farm Brewery. Don't forget to don your festive green attire and bring a designated driver to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Join

THIS IS A 5K TRAIL RUN TAKING PLACE AT BIG TRUCK FARM BREWERY LOCATED IN QUEENSTOWN, MD. THE COURSE IS AN OUT AND BACK TAKING YOU DOWN A LANE, WITH A DECENT AMOUNT OF GRADE, THEN FOLLOWING AROUND THE EDGE OF THE MANY FIELDS OF THE FARM. THE PLANNED START OF THE RACE IS 9:00 AM WITH BEER POURING STARTING AT 10:00 AM. ALL RUNNERS, 21 AND UP WILL GET 1 BEER TOKEN, AND ALL RACERS WILL RECEIVE A SHIRT.
PACKET PICKUP WILL BEGIN AT 8:00AM. PLEASE HAVE YOUR REGISTRATION QR CODE READY TO SHOW OUR STAFF AT CHECK IN. BIB NUMBERS WILL BE ASSIGNED AS YOU CHECK IN.
AFTER THE FINISH OF THE 5K (SHOULD BE AROUND 1030 AM), WE WILL START RUNNING BEER MILES ON PREMISES AS WELL. THE BEER MILE WILL CONSIST OF A .25 MILE LOOP THAT YOU WILL RUN 4 TIMES. CLOSEDA Beer Mile consists of 4 loops around a .25 course. At the start of each lap you must consume one 12 ounce beer and then hold the can over your head, upside down. If any beer spills out onto your head a judge will give you a time penalty. The cost of the 4 beers are included in your registration fees. There will be at least 4 beers for you to choose from. The ABV of the beer has to be at least 5.0%. Each wave will consist of 12 participants and you will have 20 minutes to complete your mile. AN ID IS REQUIRED. No ID no beer. -
