Organiser's Description
Join us either in person or virtually on September 6th at 9:00am for a morning of fresh air, community, prizes, and more. We invite all to participate, whether that be by running, walking, or skipping. Feel free to wear a costume, the best one gets a prize!
At this event, participants can register as a team, register as an individual, or simply donate to a participant or team that you'd like to support. Any contribution is greatly appreciated, and all profits benefit the National Brain Tumor Society.
Please arrive at Niwot High School half an hour early to check in. Park in the upper parking lot and make your way to the side of the high school, where the race will begin! There will be signs and a tent guiding you to the start line.
This race was inspired by the amazing Meg Boyer. Meg showed people how to lead with strength, live with love, and fight with bravery, and her diagnosis of brain cancer in 2018 only emphasized all of those amazing qualities. Although we miss her dearly, we can still feel her presence by doing the things that she loved, namely running, enjoying the outdoors, bonding with friends and family, and fighting for a cure. By keeping Meg's spirit alive and funding research for a cure to brain cancer, hopefully we can all be Brave Like Meg.
