The Classic Race, starting at 11:00 AM, is an open non-draft legal race perfect for collegiate athletes, age group competitors, and relay teams. Athletes will tackle a 750m open-water swim, followed by a 20km bike ride, and finish strong with a 5k run. For advanced collegiate and elite athletes, the Draft Legal Triathlon kicks off earlier at 8:30 AM, presenting a thrilling challenge for the top contenders. Both races feature men's and women's categories while ensuring inclusivity for all participants, regardless of gender identity. Organiser's Description
THERE ARE TWO SEPARATE RACES TAKING PLACE ON FEBRUARY 14TH, 2026: THE CLASSIC RACE AND THE DRAFT-LEGAL RACE. The Classic Stanford Treeathlon, a open non-draft legal race for collegiate athletes, age group athletes, and relay teams, will start at 11:00 am. The Stanford Draft Legal Triathlon for advanced Collegiate and Elite athletes will start at 08:30 am. In each race, we have two categories of waves, men's and women's. While these wave start categories are binary, we recognize that not all people fit within that and we will accommodate all participants regardless of gender identity.

You must be 16 years old ON RACE DAY to participate in this race.
