Join us for the exhilarating Stomp the Stigma 5K on Saturday, May 30, 2026, in the vibrant community of Louisburg, Franklin. This exciting event is part of a larger initiative by Maria Parham Franklin and the MPF Behavioral Health team to promote mental health awareness during National Mental Health Awareness Month. The day kicks off with the 5K Run/Walk at 9 AM, winding through the charming streets of downtown Louisburg, followed by a 1-Mile Family Fun Run/Walk at 9:30 AM, and a delightful Kids Dash at 10 AM, all held on the hospital grounds.
Participants can look forward to a fun-filled day, with each registrant receiving a t-shirt and a swag bag (pre-registration required two weeks in advance for guaranteed items). Plus, we celebrate our top athletes with awards for the top three male and female finishers, along with medals for the first 150 participants who cross the finish line! Come out, show your support, and help us stomp out the stigma surrounding mental health while enjoying a fantastic day of fitness and community spirit!

Organiser's Description
Maria Parham Franklin and the MPF Behavioral Health team are committed to raising awareness around mental health and coming together to support the needs of our community. As May is National Mental Health Awareness Month, were here to Stomp the Stigma surrounding mental health and to normalize seeking help when needed.
MPFs Stomp the Stigma will be comprised of 3 events;
* The 5K Run/Walk, starting at 9am, begins and ends at the hospital and goes through downtown Louisburg
* The 1-Mile Family Fun Run/Walk begins at 9:30am
* The Kids Dash starts at 10am and takes place entirely on the grounds of the hospital
Each participant receives a t-shirt and swag bag (*must register 2 weeks prior to the race to be guaranteed t-shirt and swag bag)
AWARDS:
Top 3 male and top 3 female finisher
