The race is open to everyone, and awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers, as well as the top three in various age groups, from 14 & Under to 70 & Up. Plus, don't miss the chance to compete for the coveted Mountain Maestro Trophy by forming a team with friends, family, or colleagues! All participants will receive a finisher's medal and a stylish long sleeve T-shirt, with special color selection available for those who register by October 10th. The STONE MOUNTAIN MUSIC DASH 5K is a community driven event dedicated to supporting the Stone Mountain Elementary School Music Department. Join us for a day of fun, fitness and philanthropy as we run together to enrich the lives of our students through the POWER OF MUSIC! The school is about to head into its 100th year in existence. Let's shock them with the POWER OF COMMUNITY!
Set against the scenic backdrop of Stone Mountain, in downtown - starting at City Hall, this event promises an exciting experience for participants of all ages and fitness levels. You don't have to run, you can WALK, you can WATCH, you can CHEER, you can DONATE, you can SPONSOR and you can VOLUNTEER! However you decide to participate, you're going to be making a difference in the lives of kids!
