Registration remains open on the morning of the event starting at 7 a.m., with packet pick-up available for pre-registered participants. Don’t miss out on the included hat and gloves—make sure to register by September 24th to guarantee your goodies! Awards will be presented for the best overall times, as well as by age group, ensuring recognition for participants of all levels. Plus, a portion of the proceeds will support Joliet Central High School's National Honor Society, celebrating students who excel in leadership, scholarship, service, and character. The Joliet City Center Partnership (CCP) is excited to host the 4th annual Stone & Steel Spooky 5K on Saturday, October 4th, 2025 at 8 a.m. This chip-timed race starts in Downtown Joliet and runs through the Joliet Iron Works Historic Site. Walkers and runners are welcome to participate. Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite Halloween costume. A hat and gloves are included in the race fee, but may not be guaranteed if registering after September 24th. REGISTRATION WILL REMAIN OPEN THE MORNING OF THE RACE BEGINNING AT 7 A.M. PACKET PICK-UP WILL BE AVAILABLE, FOR ANYONE WHO REGISTERED BY OCTOBER 1ST, AT INTERNODE GREENERY & HOME LOCATED AT 81 N. CHICAGO STREET, FRIDAY FROM 11 A.M.- 6:00 P.M. AND SATURDAY FROM 11:00 A.M.-3:00 P.M. DUE TO CONSTRUCTION IN THE DOWNTOWN, WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO PARK AT THE OTTAWA STREET DECK LOCATED AT 110 N. OTTAWA. BRING YOUR TICKET WITH YOU FOR VALIDATION AT INTERNODE. OTHERWISE, YOU MAY PICK UP YOUR PACKET THE MORNING OF THE RACE.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Joliet Central High School's chapter of the National Honor Society which recognizes students who excel in the four pillars of NHS: leadership, scholarship, service, and character. All NHS students have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Selected members participate in a variety of service projects and leadership events.
