Get ready for a berry exciting day at the Strawberry 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, June 7th, 2025, in the scenic Blue River Park of Shelbyville, Shelby! This fun-filled event invites participants of all ages to enjoy a delightful 5K run or walk along paved trails, surrounded by nature’s beauty. Every participant will receive a vibrant red or pink T-shirt, and everyone will earn a strawberry-themed finisher medal to commemorate their achievement.
In addition to the main race, there’s a fantastic 1/4 mile Shortcake Kids run starting at 7:45 a.m., ensuring that the little ones can join in on the fun too! Runners will have the chance to pick up playful strawberry tokens along the course for exciting prizes. Don’t miss the chance to compete for strawberry-themed awards for the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as for the top three in each age group. After the race, indulge in delicious strawberry and shortcake snacks to celebrate your accomplishment. Join us for a day of health, fun, and strawberries galore!

Oh the FUN! This Strawberry themed race takes place on paved trails in beautiful Blue River Park in Shelbyville! T-shirts will be red and/or pink! Strawberry finisher medals for everyone! Strawberry themed Awards for top 3 male/female overall and 3 deep in each age group! Pick up Strawberries along the course and bring in for prizes (not real strawberries, Silly!). Free 1/4 mile Shortcake Kids run at 7:45 a.m. Yummy Strawberry and Shortcake snacks post-race!
