WELCOME TO THE STRIDES FOR STEM 5K, THE PREMIER RUN/WALK EVENT SUPPORTING SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, AND MATH (STEM) OUTREACH AND COMMUNITY BUILDING IN THE RESEARCH TRIANGLE.
Formerly known as NC DNA Day 5K, this event has a proud history of supporting STEM education and outreach in North Carolina. Funds raised from this event will support STEM outreach programs created by the WinSPIRE Research Program. These programs aim to break down barriers surrounding STEM-based careers by allowing high school students to interact directly with STEM professionals from leading research institutions in North Carolina.
