Come send the summer off right by enjoying a fun and leisurely bike ride or walk through Owatonnas beautiful parks and trails! Your free cup of soft serve ice cream from The Blast, music, fun activities, and awesome optional tie-dye Summer Meltaway t-shirt will be waiting for you at the finish. OPENS SOONThis is a leisurely approximately 2.4-mile bike/scooter ride and walk. The route will start at Manthey Park where there will be a "soft start" for bikers/riders at 10 am with walkers following. A small water station will be available at mile 1.4, but please bring your own water if you anticipate needing it on the course. The route finishes in the grassy area just north of The Blast along the North Straight River Trail. For the safety of everyone, absolutely none of the following will be allowed: -Racing -Motorized bikes or scooters -Electric ("E") bikes or scooters -In-line or roller skates -Skateboards -Running -Pets/Animals The trail will be open to the public during the event. Participants are expected to be courteous to others sharing the trail and to stay to the right side of the trail unless safely passing others. Your event wristband must be used to redeem the free kids cup of ice cream at The Blast on the day of the event only. All participants must be registered. Alternative date in the event of severe weather is Sunday, August 25, 2024.
