Swarthmores 2024 Home for the Holidays will kick off with a 1 mile sprint through the town. Dressing up to run in festive gear/apparel is 100% strongly encouraged and adds a great deal of fun to the festivities!!
This race is the kick-off for Swarthmores very festive annual event - performances, live music, Park-a-Pub, trolley rides, and caroling. The funds from the race will help support all of the days events.
LOCATION: Registration will take place outside of Ship Bottom Brewery at 5 Park Ave in Swarthmore. Registration Opens at 11:00 am; Race starts at 12:00 PM.
RECOGNITION: 1st Place Male, 1st Place Female, Top Individual Costume, Top Group Costume
RACE RESULTS: Race will be professionally timed by the Bryn Mawr Racing Co.; Results will be found at http://www.brynmawrracing.com
PRICING:
* $28.00 for those 21+
* $12.00 for those ages 6 - 20
* Children Age 5 and under run for free, but need to run with a parent/guardian (they do not need a separate bib or sign up).
* Swarthmore College students free!! Thank you to Swarthmore College Recreation, Wellness, & Physical Education.
MERCH: Those runners in the over 21+ category will receive ONE FREE BEER COUPON FROM SHIP BOTTOM!
