Join fellow buccaneers as you set sail on a scenic course while celebrating International Talk Like a Pirate Day! Dress in your favorite pirate attire and get ready to earn a unique finisher medal that any treasure-seeker would be proud of. Awards will be up for grabs for the top three male and female finishers in each distance category across traditional five-year age groups, making it a fantastic opportunity for all ages to participate. So gather your crew, put on your eye patches, and prepare for a day of swashbuckling fun and treasure hunting at the Talk Pirate to Me event—an experience you won't want to miss! Arrr, are you ready to claim your share of the spoils?
Organiser's Description
Choose your quest5K, 10K, or Half Marathonand chart your course to the finish line. Every buccaneer who successfully walks the plank and crosses the finish line will earn a custom finisher medal worthy of any pirate's treasure chest.
We're headed to the CORNERSTONE PARK IN HENDERSON for an 8:00 am start, and hitting the trail to celebrate the pirate in you. Come out dressed in your favorite pirate garb (and some running shoes), and we'll hit the trail instead of walking the plank.
Awards will be presented in all three distances to the top three male and female finishers in our traditional five-year age groups, giving pirates of all ages a chance to claim their share of the booty.
So dust off your eye patches, practice your pirate lingo, and come celebrate a month of high-seas fun. There be treasure waiting at the finish line!
