Get ready for an exciting day of fitness and fun at the Talon Trot 5K & Fun Run on Saturday, April 12, 2025, in Galloway Township, Atlantic! This family-friendly event is designed for participants of all ages and activity levels, offering a scenic course through the beautiful Stockton University campus, set within the picturesque Pinelands National Reserve. Runners will enjoy a blend of flat, paved paths and charming wooded trails that circle around the serene Lake Fred.
Not only will participants receive a commemorative race t-shirt, but they will also be treated to refreshing recovery drinks, fruit, and energy bars after their run. Competitive runners can aim for accolades as awards will be presented to the top three finishers in both the men's and women's divisions, as well as top finishers in each age group. For our youngest athletes, there’s a special treat: a FREE quarter-mile youth race for kids under 12! Join us for a day filled with healthy activities and community spirit, and don’t miss the chance to explore what's new at Stockton during Experience Stockton Day! Come out and be part of this vibrant celebration of fitness and camaraderie while supporting Stockton's Cross Country and Track & Field programs.

Organiser's Description
The Talon Trot 5K & Fun Run is suitable for participants of varying ages and activity levels. The course, located on Stockton's stunning 2000-acre campus nestled in the Pinelands National Reserve, will take you on a tour around campus. Start with flat and paved terrain along college walk and then dip into wooded trails around the one and only Lake Fred!
All runners will receive a commemorative race t-shirt and will be treated to recovery drinks, fruit, and energy bars. Spend your afternoon at Experience Stockton Day; take campus tours, meet faculty and staff and see what's new at Stockton!
Awards will be given to the top three finishers in the men's division, the women's division and the top finisher (one) in each age group:
