Get ready for an exciting evening of athletic fun at the Team FTC Kids Track Meet on Friday, June 27, 2025, in Gainesville, Alachua! This vibrant, free youth track meet invites children aged 5-14 to join in on the action, regardless of their experience level. From thrilling 400m runs to energetic 4x100m relays, young athletes can choose their races and participate in a variety of events, including a 50m Dash for the littlest runners and a challenging 1600m (Mile Run) for the more seasoned competitors.
The event kicks off at 5:30 PM at the Kiwanis Challenge Park, and the first race starts at 6:00 PM. Participants will enjoy hand-timed races and the chance to form teams for relays right on the spot! Beyond the races, the evening will feature fun games and activities, making it a perfect way for kids to stay active, build confidence, and connect with fellow young athletes. Be sure to bring your own water to stay refreshed and have a parent or guardian present for supervision. FREE Youth Track Meet hosted by TEAM FTC KIDS!
Join us for a fun-filled evening of racing, games, and community at the TEAM FTC KIDS Youth Track Meet! This event is completely FREE and open to all youth ages 514 no experience necessary!
This event also celebrates the upcoming August launch of our new youth running club TEAM FTC KIDS!
Our club will offer structured practices, age-appropriate training, and year-round support for young athletes who want to grow in the sports of cross country and track! More information will be provided at the meet.
Whether your child is trying track for the first time or loves to run, this is a great way to stay active, build confidence, and meet other young athletes in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Event selections will be made at check-in, so kids can decide to race as little or as much as they would like! After the final race, well also host a few fun games and light-hearted activities.
EXTRA INFO
Water will be available throughout the event to keep all participants refreshed, but bringing your own hydration is highly encouraged.
A parent or responsible adult must be present at the event with each participant. While we will help organize and supervise the races, guardians are responsible for the overall supervision and safety of their children throughout the event.
This is an outdoor event and may be postponed or canceled in the event of lightning or other severe weather conditions. Any updates will be communicated via the email address provided during registration.
