Sprint, run, jog, walk, or gobble-wobble down this fast point-to-point downhill mile course! **This year's race is the Saturday before Thanksgiving, and will NOT be held on Thanksgiving morning!** This will be a fun opportunity to lay down a fast mile time... and a great way to burn some calories and get some movement before you dig in to the turkey and mashed potatoes.
The course will start on Northview Street and will run on neighborhood streets, finishing on Knadler Street in front of Indian Paintbrush Elementary School. This year's course features an elevation drop of 123 feet in just one mile!
PRE-RACE REGISTRATION: $10 | RACE-DAY REGISTRATION: $20
CHECK-IN AND RACE DAY REGISTRATION IS FROM 7:45AM - 8:15AM IN THE INDIAN PAINTBRUSH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CAFETERIA. RACES START AT 8:30AM. _Depending on the number of participants, we may group runners into multiple waves. _
Proceeds from this race will benefit local youth running groups, including the Laramie Valley Jackalopes, Laramie Middle School Cross Country, and Laramie High School Cross Country teams.
We will be recognizing the M & F winners in each of the following categories. Winners in these categories will also hold the COURSE RECORD since this is year features a new course!
