Join us for the 17th Annual Gynecologic Cancers 5K on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the beautiful Monroe Community College's Brighton Campus in Rochester, NY. This exciting event features a USTAF certified course, making it the perfect opportunity for runners of all levels to participate in a meaningful cause. September is Gynecologic Cancers Awareness Month, and this race aims to raise awareness about the symptoms, risk factors, and importance of early detection for gynecologic cancers.
Whether you're running in person or opting for the Virtual Race option, your participation will help honor and support the women and families affected by these cancers. You can register for the Virtual Race and join us in spirit if you're not in Rochester but still want to share support. And, if you're a little uncomfortable in crowds, join the Virtual Race.
September is Gynecologic Cancers Awareness Month and according to the CDC, all women are at risk for developing Gynecologic Cancers and the probability only increases with age. Help us in raising awareness of the symptoms, risk factors, prevention and early detection for cervical, ovarian, endometrial/uterine, vaginal or vulvar cancer, because as The Foundation for Women's Cancers states, every five minutes, a woman will be diagnosed with one of these cancers. Show your support as we honor and celebrate the women and families in our community impacted by Gynecologic Cancers.
