For those who prefer a social experience, join the Board of Directors for an in-person run/walk of the full 5K during the week. With a registration fee of just $30, you’ll receive access to all events and a custom ACP medal to commemorate your participation. Active Children Portland (ACP) brings the fun after the bell rings! We offer free after-school programs that mix sports, hands-on learning, and awesome mentors to help K8 students stay active, curious, and confident.
When you join The Active Dash, youre not just going the distanceyoure helping us keep programs free and full of heart for the kids who need them most. Every step you take supports more high-fives, more homework help, and more chances for kids to shine!
During this fun week of movement well be hosting:
* VIRTUAL SCAVENGER HUNT: Youll be given a list of fun and silly prompts to keep an eye out for while completing your 5k (like someone who already has their Halloween decorations out!). We will have a private and interactive Facebook group to share your photos and videos, and there will even be prizes!
