Inspired by the spirit of the legendary Orange Classic, The Big Orange 10 Mile continues its mission to bring together a competitive field while remaining approachable and welcoming to runners and walkers of all levels.

Set against the peak of Port Jervis breathtaking fall foliage, race day offers more than just milesits an experience. Perfectly timed two weeks ahead of the New York City Marathon, the race serves as an ideal tune-up for marathoners while also giving newer runners a chance to conquer the exciting milestone of a double-digit distance.

Hosted by the proud and growing community of Port Jervis, participants will enjoy a course that highlights the citys charm, including its new school athletic facility, energetic local support, and easy accessibility via direct train service from New York Citymaking it a perfect fall getaway for runners and spectators alike.

Even more meaningful, proceeds from the event will continue to support our charitable initiatives. A portion of the proceeds directly funds our Shoe Program and Scholarship Program, which help remove barriers and create opportunities for individuals in our community. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds will directly benefit the Port Jervis Parks and Recreation Department, helping support and enhance local community spaces.
