Join us for the THIRD ANNUAL FIRST STEP 5K AND 1-MILE FUN RUN/WALK & 5K RUCK, hosted by Haven at Blue Creek on our beautiful grounds in Grimesland, NC on APRIL 4, 2026.
The First Step 5K is more than a race its a powerful morning where our community comes together to support women taking brave steps toward recovery. All proceeds benefit Haven at Blue Creek, a Women's Rehabilitation Center committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for women overcoming addiction.
Join us for post-race refreshments and a joyful, family-friendly atmosphere.
The course is a cross country style course (gravel road/grass) and includes running across the propertys Berm. Strollers are welcome for the 1-mile fun run but we do not recommend for the 5k. Dogs on leashes are welcome.

Nestled in a serene landscape, Haven at Blue Creek is a sanctuary dedicated to the recovery of women fighting addiction. Our program, exclusively for women, embraces a holistic approach to recovery, focusing on healing the mind, body, and spirit.
