Organiser's Description

The Janus School Welcomes You: We are happy to announce that The Janus School will host our second Ginger Goudie Memorial 5K Walk & Run on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at our campus in Mount Joy, PA.  This event supports continued excellence in education for students with learning differences and also honors Ginger Goudie, a dear friend and Janus teacher, who died in 2022.
The Janus School Mission: For 33 years, Janus has been the only independent school in south central Pennsylvania dedicated to helping students with a language- or math-based learning disability, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), executive function difficulties (EFD), nonverbal learning disorder, or auditory processing disorder.  Janus focuses on each student’s unique learning needs, giving them the tools they need to achieve academic success and a happy, independent life.  Our vision is that students will become thriving participants in diverse communities, empowered by their education to succeed.
About Ginger Goudie: Ginger taught mathematics and life skills at Janus for over 20 years.  She was adored by the whole Janus community for her kindness, patience, and ability to transform the lives of all who entered her classroom. We would be delighted if you joined us.
