When someone registers for the race, they can expect a well-organized, welcoming, and family-friendly event. Participants will receive important event details ahead of time, including confirmation of their registration and information to help them prepare for race day.

On the day of the event, runners and walkers will check in, receive their race materials, and join a community of participants supporting a shared cause to support IOCC. As a small token of appreciation, participants will receive a branded event shirt. Light refreshments—such as water and simple snacks—will also be available to help keep everyone energized.

While the primary goal is to create an enjoyable race experience for all participants, we also plan to recognize standout performances. Medals will be awarded to the overall race winners as well as to top finishers in various age groups.

This event is designed to be family-friendly and accessible. Walkers are welcome, and participants of many experience levels can enjoy the course together. We’re also hoping to include a short children’s fun run at the beginning of the event, which—if all goes according to plan—will be a great way for younger participants to join in the excitement.
