The Greater Scranton YMCA is a cause for strengthening the community. With a mission to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all, the Y is proud to work with our community every day to ensure all are welcome.
Proceeds from the Greater Scranton YMCAs Inaugural 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk will benefit our financial assistance program. Here at the Y, we turn no one away for an inability to pay. We open our doors to all, regardless of their ability to pay full program fees. Through funds raised for our Annual Support Campaign, we provide financial assistance to individuals and families from across our region, allowing them to benefit from all the Y has to offer, including membership, child care, swim lessons and more.
