Get ready for an exhilarating adventure at the inaugural Grit and Gravel Off-Road Cycle Stampede, taking place on Sunday, May 25, 2025, in the stunning Santa Ysabel East Preserve, San Diego! This event promises an unforgettable experience for cycling enthusiasts with its challenging 16.6-mile expert route designed for mountain bikes, gravel bikes, and e-bikes (Class 1 and 2). As riders navigate the gravely fire roads and tackle steep sections, they may even encounter grazing cattle along the way, adding a unique twist to the ride.

Participants will start and finish at the nature center parking lot, and after conquering the course, enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch courtesy of Farmhouse 78 Restaurant—free for race participants and available for purchase by spectators. Families can also look forward to a fun-filled day with a kids bike safety rodeo, where young riders can develop essential bike handling and safety skills.
