This exciting 5K Run/Walk, starting at 9:00 AM, is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community in honor of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Not only will you be participating in a fun and invigorating race, but you’ll also be supporting a great cause—proceeds will benefit individuals facing health challenges and the MLK Bartow County Scholarship Fund, promoting health, wellness, and education in the local community.
This year, participants can look forward to a new fast-paced race route that winds through the charming streets of Downtown Cartersville, including the iconic MLK Drive. With pre-race registration available for just $30 until January 11th, you’ll want to secure your spot early to guarantee your T-shirt size. Race day registration will be $40, so don’t miss out! The day will kick off with packet pick-up starting at 7:45 AM, followed by pre-race announcements and the exciting 5K start at 9:00

Annual Running of the ML5K COMMUNITY RUN The race--in honor of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.--is meant to BRING OUR COMMUNITY TOGETHER, not only in recognition of Dr. King, but also in an effort to promote health and wellness in our own little corner of the world on this very special day! Each year, proceeds from the race will benefit an individual or individuals experiencing health challenges, providing support for medical bills and related expenses. Additionally, proceeds will serve to benefit the MLK Bartow County Scholarship Fund, furthering education in the Bartow County community.
2026 Brings us a NEW and exciting Race Route utilizing Downtown Cartersville Streets and the Iconic MLK Drive! So lace up and plan to join us on this new fast-moving route!

1K AWARDS:
