Organiser's Description
The Office 5K is a road race that passes sites featured on NBC’s “The Office.” Starting in the shadow of the Electric City sign in Scranton, PA’s downtown, runners will pass Penn Paper, the Dwight mural, Cooper’s, and more. Participants can dress up as their favorite Office character for fun and prizes. Walkers can enjoy a modified 1.5 mile course with special activities along the way.
The race begins at 1pm on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the 500 Linden Street block in Scranton. Cooper’s Seafood House (701 N. Washington Avenue) will host a pre-race party on May 5 from 5-7pm where participants can pick up their race bibs, tee shirts, and race info. (These items are also available day of the race.) A post-race party and awards ceremony will be held immediately following the event, with additional celebrations continuing at Backyard Ale House (523 Linden Street) and Cooper’s.
Race proceeds benefit Valley In Motion, a non-profit fostering community, health, and quality of life in the Lackawanna Valley. More information about VIM at www.valleyinmotion.org or on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok at valleyinmotion.

Cost: $25 for pre-registered runners and $30 for day of registrants.
Race Start: 1 PM.
Registration: Day of registration is from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM.
Packet Pick-Up: There will be a packet pick-up for all pre-registered runners from 5 to 7 PM on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Cooper's Seafood House, 701 N. Washington Ave., Scranton, PA 18509.
Awards: The top male and females will receive an award. The top male and female masters finishers will win awards as well. The top males and females in the below age groups will win awards.
