Get ready for a fantastic day of fun and fitness at The Office 5K on Saturday, May 3, 2025, in Scranton, Lackawanna! This unique road race invites fans of NBC's beloved series, The Office, to lace up their running shoes and join in on the excitement as they race past iconic locations featured in the show. The 5K race kicks off at 1 PM from 523 Linden Street, right outside the Backyard Ale House, and participants can also enjoy a modified 1-mile course perfect for walkers, complete with special activities along the route.
Dress as your favorite character for a chance to win one of the many costume awards, including Best Group Costume and Best In Show! Pre-registered runners can pick up their race packets on May 2 at Cooper's Seafood House, while same-day registration will be available from 11 AM to 12:30 PM. With a registration fee of $30 until April 20 and $40 on race day, there's never been a better time to join in. The Office 5K is a road race in Scranton, PA that passes sites featured on NBCs The Office. Participants can dress up as their favorite Office character for fun and prizes. Walkers can enjoy a modified 1 mile course with special activities along the way.
The race begins at 1pm on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 523 Linden Street in Scranton, in front of Backyard Ale House. Participants can pick up their race bibs, tee shirts, and race info at Coopers Seafood House (701 N. Washington Avenue) on May 2 from 5-7pm. (These items are also available day of the race.) A block party and awards ceremony will be held immediately following the event.
Participants who register by April 20 are guaranteed a shirt. More info about the race can be found at theoffice5k.com.
Race proceeds benefit Valley In Motion, a non-profit strengthening sense of community across the Lackawanna Valley. More information about VIM at www.valleyinmotion.org or on Facebook and Instagram at @valleyinmotion.
