Get ready for the R&B Running Series in Sacramento, coming to North Natomas! Whether you're up for a Virtual 5K, an In-Person 5K, or a 10K, weve got something for everyone. This event is all about celebrating Black wellness, great vibes, and community spiritso lace up those sneakers and get moving!
If you're into flexibility, the Virtual 5K is for you. You can run or walk from anywhere, at your own pace, anytime during the event. Plus, proceeds from the virtual race will go towards supporting community group therapy sessionsa perfect way to race for a good cause!
If youre in Sacramento, dont miss the In-Person 5K! Feel the energy as you race through North Natomas with music pumping and good vibes all around. It's the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself while enjoying a fun, supportive atmosphere.
For the bold and adventurous, weve got the In-Person 10K. Push your limits and experience the excitement of a longer race while soaking up the community love and motivation.

Competition Structure

Gather your squad and represent your team in this high-energy race! Each team must have a minimum of five participants to qualify. The more teammates you bring, the better your chances of taking home the crown!

Not everyone runs at the same level, so were using a balanced point-based system to ensure an even playing field. Points are awarded in the following categories:
Team Placement Points The top 5 finishers times from each team will be averaged, determining the teams placement.
Participation Points The team with the most runners registered earns bonus points.
Spirit Points Show your team pride! Earn points for most creative team gear, banners, and energy on race day.
Community Impact Points Teams that engage in community service initiatives, fundraising, or volunteer efforts leading up to the race will earn extra points!
Incentives & Awards
Keep the motivation high with these epic prizes:
Who Runs the City? Champion Trophy Awarded to the top overall team with the highest combined score.
Fastest Team Award Given to the team with the lowest average time of their top 5 finishers.
