The Rock the Loch 5K/7M/Half Marathon (LIVE or Virtual)

We cannot promise youll encounter any cryptic, aquatic creatures at Loch Chabot, but you might! We DO promise a gorgeous trail run on the scenic trails of Loch Chabot Regional Park, some quality nature therapy, and some incredible views!
Well also hook you up with some awesome swag (a shirt, a race woodallion that doubles as a bottle opener, a Rock the Loch beer sampler stein, more), quality post run beverages/snacks, and more!
If you cant join us LIVE at Loch Chabot, no problem! Were supporting a VIRTUAL participation option as well.
Where: Lake Chabot in Castro Valley, CA.When: Sun, 7/7- Half (9:15AM start), 7 Miler (9:30AM start), 5K (9:45AM start).Course Maps: 5K Course Map, 7 Miler Course Map, Half Marathon Course Map.
Course Details-The 5K is 100% paved. The 7 Miler is 50% paved and 50% trail. The Half Marathon includes 3ish miles paved and the rest is trail.

PLEASE NOTE WE CANNOT SUPPORT REFUNDS, TRANSFERS, AND/OR CREDITS.
In the event of race cancellation due to wildfires, hazardous air quality, hazardous weather conditions, natural disasters, COVID and/or other global pandemics, or any act of God that is beyond our control, we cannot support refunds, transfers, and/or credits. Please note this has only happened ONCE due to COVID in 2020, but anything is possible. Please make sure you are comfortable with these potential risks before you sign up. 
In the event of race cancellation due to any of the aforementioned, we will ship all race swag/items to participants and provide direction around navigating the course(s) on your own. Well also provide direction around submitting your result. 
We also cannot support refunds, transfers, and/or race credits if you get injured in the days/week(s) leading up to race day, if your schedule changes in the days/week(s) leading up to race day, if a work trip comes up that makes it impossible for you to attend on race day, and/or any other professional or personal matter that arises making it difficult for you to attend in person on race day.
