Join us for an exciting day of fitness and fun at the inaugural Trail Trot Cross Country 5K and Kid's Fun Run on Saturday, May 31, 2025, in the beautiful setting of Robinson, Crawford! This unique event features a scenic 3.1-mile Jail Break 5K race, winding through the picturesque grounds of Lincoln Trail College, with most of the course on lush grass and a portion on paved pathways that meander around the pond and through the woods. In addition, young runners can participate in the delightful Kid's Fun Run, a 1-mile adventure on safe, paved paths.
Participants can look forward to a vibrant atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, with awards for the top male and female finishers, as well as medals for the top three in each age group, from under 17 to 65 and over. Kids will receive finisher medals and T-shirts to celebrate their accomplishments! Don’t miss the early packet pickup on Friday, May 30, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and race day festivities starting at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday. Lace up your running shoes and be part of this memorable community event!

Welcome to the Crawford County Recreation Center's first annual Jail Break Cross Country 5K and Kid's Fun Run!
The Jail Break 5K is a 3.1 mile race on the Crawford County Recreation Center course that winds through the scenic campus of Lincoln Trail College. Most of the course is on grass and a small portion is on paved pathways around the pond and through the woods on the Lincoln Trail College campus.
The Kid's Fun Run is a 1 mile run on paved pathways around the pond and through the woods on the Lincoln Trail College campus.
Prizes for Top Male and Female Winners. Medals for 1st place in each age group. 17 and under, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 and over. Finisher Medal and T shirts for all the children in the Kid's Fun Run.
