THE VILLAGE OF NORRIDGE WOULD LOVE FOR YOU TO JOIN US FOR OUR 2ND ANNUAL 5K REINDEER RUN AND KIDS DASH!

Thank you to all of our registrants who helped make last year's inaugural race such a wonderful success. We are thrilled to bring you the 2nd annual race on Saturday December 5, 2026:

* The 5K run/walk will be chip-timed. We welcome everyone, runners and walkers!

* The Kids Dash will be a 1/4 mile untimed fun run, for ages 10 and under.

* In addition to the 5K and Kids Dash, there will be a DJ, face painting, a photo booth, a selfie station, free hot chocolate, and... Santa!

The races begin and end in the parking lot of the old church, now Village of Norridge property, at the corner of N Ozanam Ave and W Montrose Ave. (Address: 7740 W Montrose Ave, Norridge, IL US 60706)



REGISTRATION DATES

You can register anytime, including in-person on race day, and will receive reindeer antlers and jingle bells for your racing shoes!

If you register before Friday November 13, you will also get a finisher's medal, and your choice of a t-shirt or winter hat! After Friday November 13, t-shirts/winter hats and finisher's medals will be given out only while supplies last.

RACE DAY SCHEDULE

Packet Pick-up begins at 8:30 am

Kids Dash begins at 9:30 am

5K Reindeer Run begins at 10 am



SWAG - FOR ALL REGISTRANTS (5K AND KIDS DASH)

* T-SHIRTS/WINTER HATS AND FINISHER'S MEDALS ARE GUARANTEED FOR ALL REGISTRATIONS RECEIVED PRIOR TO FRIDAY NOVEMBER 13, 2026. For registrations received after November 13, t-shirts/winter hats and finisher's medals are not guaranteed and will be available while supplies last.
* All participants will receive reindeer antler headbands and jingle bells for your racing shoes. Wear them during the race for an extra jolly time!
* Winter hats will also be available for purchase as an extra add-on during registration before Friday November 13.
* "Village of Norridge Reindeer Run"-themed thermal mugs are also available for purchase for $6 as an optional add-on during registration and in-person on race day.
* Age group awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Male and Female finishers in the following categories: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

PARKING

The races begin and end in the parking lot of the old church, now Village of Norridge property, at the corner of N Ozanam Ave and W Montrose Ave. Parking is available:

* In the rear parking lot behind the old church, accessible from W Sunnyside Ave
* Street parking along both W Montrose Ave and N Ozanam Ave



PACKET PICK-UP

Packets will be available for pick-up either:

* THE DAY BEFORE THE RACE, FRIDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2026:

* LOCATION: The LOBBY in Norridge Village Hall, 4000 N Olcott Ave, Norridge, IL 60706
* TIME: 10 am to 5 pm
* PARKING: Available either in the parking lot attached to the back of Village Hall, accessible from N Oleander Ave, or anywhere on the streets

* OR THE DAY OF THE RACE, starting at 8:30 am, at the race location

_We will send you an email the Monday before the race (Monday, November 30, 2026) with a QR code to bring with you to packet pick-up. This can help expedite check-in, though it is NOT required for check-in!_

WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MAIL PACKETS; THEY MUST BE PICKED UP IN PERSON EITHER THE DAY BEFORE OR THE DAY OF THE RACE.
