Celebrate the spirit of competition with awards for the top three finishers in male and female categories, while also coming together for a meaningful cause. This race honors Eli Jones, a brave young man currently battling lymphoma, and aims to raise awareness for childhood cancer. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to WellStar Children's Hospital of Georgia in Eli's name. Let's unite in support of Eli and enjoy a day filled with community, camaraderie, and compassion!
Organiser's Description
Thrive in Motion 5K is a family oriented race that will be hosted by Thrive Fitness and Nutrition in Waynesboro, Georgia. You can walk, run, or even bike this event. We will have a first, second, and third place winner, in both male and female categories, for all runners.
This 5k will be to honor a special young man named Eli Jones a bring awareness to childhood cancer. A percentage of all the money raised will be donated in Elis name to WellStar Childrens Hospital of Georgia.
Eli Jones is a junior at Thomas Jefferson Academy. He is currently battling lymphoma. He enjoys play golf and basketball.
