The SPRINT triathlon kicks off with a refreshing 750-meter swim in the crystal-clear waters of Lake George, followed by a challenging 12-mile bike ride through scenic, hilly terrain, and wraps up with a picturesque 5K run along the lake's shore. Olympic competitors will tackle double loops of each course for an added challenge, while those daring enough to take on the DOUBLE TI will race both the SPRINT and OLYMPIC back-to-back, starting at 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM respectively. There are no cut-off times, making this event accessible for all, including paratriathletes and relay teams. Organiser's Description
SPRINT,OLYMPIC, AND DOUBLE TI TRIATHLON & AQUABIKE
THERE ARE NO CUT-OFF TIMES ON ANY EVENT.
SPRINT athletes begin with a 750M SWIM in the crystal-clear waters of Lake George, then head out for a moderate, hilly 12-MILE BIKE ride followed by a 5K run on the scenery-rich courses hugging the lake's shorelines.
The Olympic participants will complete 2 loops of each course.
What is the DOUBLE TI? - Race the Sprint AND the Olympic Tri or AquaBike back-to-back.
All athletes must finish the Sprint that begins at 7:00am and be back to the start line for the 9:00am Olympic.
More swag and bigger bragging rights! Most say it is harder than doing a half and a lot more fun!
Paratriathletes are welcome! Open to Relay Teams of 2 or 3.
This is a USAT sanctioned event. All rules and regulations apply.
