Get ready for an exhilarating day of outdoor adventure at the Second Annual Timberdoodle 5k/10k on Saturday, May 13th, 2023! Set in the stunning Woodcock Nature Preserve in New Marshfield, Athens, this event offers a chance to explore a newly developed trail system that winds through picturesque forests, meadows, and orchards, all situated on gently rolling hills rich in historical Shawnee heritage.

Runners can choose between a fun 5k or a challenging 10k, with the latter consisting of two loops of the beautiful 3.2-mile trail. The day kicks off with packet pickup at 8:00 am, followed by the race start at 9:00 am. Registration is just $30 for the 5k and $40 for the 10k, with all proceeds benefiting the Woodcock Nature Preserve's vital land management and stewardship efforts. Participants who register by May 1st will receive a complimentary T-shirt.
