Join us for the inaugural Tim's House 5K Run/Walk for Mental Health on Saturday, May 16, 2026, in the beautiful town of Jamestown, Mercer. This uplifting event is dedicated to raising awareness for mental health, particularly among first responders, and aims to break the stigma surrounding mental health challenges. Starting at 8:30 AM, participants can register between 6 AM and 8 AM, making it a morning filled with purpose and community spirit.
Tim's House, founded in honor of a beloved firefighter and paramedic, has been tirelessly working since 2018 to support first responders facing mental health issues. Organiser's Description
Tim's House for First Responders was founded in 2018 by Meaghan Valesky, who lost her father to suicide. He was a firefighter and paramedic who fought the silent battle of mental health. Since his passing, Meaghan has been working tirelessly to put an end to the stigma and lower the suicide rate. Through the various fundraisers that the organization does each year, Tim's House gives ALL money back to the first responder to help cover medication, hospitalizations, mental health evaluations, bills, and so much more.
For Mental Health Awareness Month, Tim's House will be doing their very first 5K Run/Walk. This race will be taking place in Jamestown, PA. Registration begins at 6am going until 8am and the race starts at 8:30am.
We cannot do all we do without your help. We look forward to see everyone for a great day of racing. We cannot thank you enough for all your support. We also extend our deepest thanks to the Borough of Jamestown for permitting us to utilize their town for this race!
