_Quotes from individuals impacted by this event in 2023 and 2024:_

"This program has meant the world to me, to know that someone cares about me." - Ubuntu patient with advanced-stage breast cancer.

"I am the one who has been blessed. I love doing this work, and it strengthens my faith." A Ubuntu ambassador

"Upon receiving a diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma, I experienced significant emotional distress, as this form of cancer lacked a familial history. However, I have actively engaged in two support groups offered by Cancer Bridges, an organization that provides comprehensive support to individuals affected by cancer through a range of complimentary programs and services.

The Multiple Myeloma support group has provided me with invaluable insights into this specific type of cancer. Furthermore, the African American Womens Cancer Group, facilitated by Mrs. Cheryl Harris, has provided a sense of comfort and support. This group facilitates direct connections between African American women, fostering discussions on various forms of cancer. Additionally, we share our experiences as patients from our respective Care Teams, establishing a supportive network of mutual understanding and shared experiences."
