Together Trail Race

1st Annual Together Trail Race at Big Spring State Park
Midland Athletic Company is proud to present Together Trail Race as part of The Permian Basin Athletic Series. 
Together Trail Race is to be held at Big Spring State Park in Big Spring, Texas on February 11, 2023. This race will have you summit Scenic Mountain at an approximate elevation of 2,769 ft. From atop the 200-foot bluff at Big Spring State Park, the scale of Texas becomes clear. Take in the expansive view, admire the timeless artisanship of the Civilian Conservation Corps as you explore 382 acres of arid plains terrain.
Together Trail Race provides the opportunity to race in pairs to commemorate Valentine's Day, but racing solo is an option as well. Grab a friend, your spouse, a coworker or your child to create a Together Trail Twosome! 
With one, two and three loops options we have something for everyone! Run, trot, hike, or walk this event but be sure to enjoy the views.
Registration Details:
Run as a pair or solo- YOUR CHOICE! If you choose to run as a pair here are some registration details:
During registration, you will be provided with the opportunity to opt into creating a group. One the first page of registration you will be as to join or create a Together Trail Twosome. After checking this box, you will be asked to join an EXISTING group or create a NEW group. IF you create a NEW group you will create a GROUP PASSWORD to share with your other group member.

Route:
This 3.5 mile trail loop begins on the south side of Scenic Mountain and takes your around to the north side of the mountain before you ascend the mountain via steep switchbacks. Once you peak the mountain, you will gradually come back down the south side of the mountain and return to the finish line. This event features one loop, two loop and three loops options. 
Race Perks: 
Registration for each distance includes: Custom Race Bib, Premium Swag & delicious post race food! 
Hydration:
Water at the Start/finish area! In addition, there will be one aid station on the course. 
Please be aware of the "Leave No Trace" etiquette of trail racing and how it applies to this event: Leave No Trace Principles

We cannot throw these races without you! Volunteering provides an opportunity to serve participants at aid stations, on the course with directions, with post race food and drinks, etc. Need community service hours? We are happy to accommodate you!
