Organiser's Description
Tomball ISD MOVES presents the Tomball ISD Superintendent's Fun Run. The TISD Superintendent's Fun Run is a 5k (3.1 miles) timed race that will take place on February 28, 2026 at the Tomball Event Center. Awards will be given to the top 3 runners in each classification. The event is open to all students and staff as well as the Tomball community. In addition to the Fun Run, a 1-mile walking course will be set up around the Tomball ISD Stadium.
Funds generated from the Superintendents Fun Run are used to cover the costs associated with hosting the Fun Run. Any remaining funds are used to:
provide incentives to increase employee health and wellness at each campus and department throughout the district
support the Tomball Education Foundation

First time running it. The course is pretty flat and easy. The people who run it are very nice and run a good race. They did allow all of the kids right up front which caused some issues as they do not adhere to race etiquette, which almost caused several collisions between runners. They do not give finisher medals, only winners get one, which is fine unless you’re running it to collect a medal. They have a small festival afterwards. They did have some award time issues.
