WELCOME TO TRADER INTERACTIVES 1ST VIRTUAL BOOTY BUSTER EVENT TO SHOW OUR SUPPORT FOR UNITED WAY.
_UNITED WAY_ [https://www.unitedway.org/] uses its local presence to build stronger, more resilient communities where everyone can thrive.
They work to improve the health, education, and economic mobility of every person in every community they serve.
This event is designed for you to have fun with family & friends, anytime, anywhere, with any activity and raise awareness for a wonderful organization.
HERE ARE SOME IDEAS ON HOW YOU CAN PARTICIPATE:
* Go for a gentle stroll or walk your dog
* Run on a treadmill or around your neighborhood
* Go for a bike ride with friends
* Set up a team with work colleagues
* Create a family challenge where you and the kids can run, walk or bike together
* Paddleboard
* Swim at your local leisure center
* Dance - track your steps to give you a distance
* Ice Skate or Roller Skate
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
a. Click on "SIGN UP" and create a profile. Feel free to add your picture!
b. If you want to participate with family members or work colleagues just choose the box to create a team. Let people know your team name so when they login they can find it and join your team.
c. The event registration is $10 with 100% going to United Way in your local area. PLEASE NOTE: WHEN YOU SIGN UP IT AUTOMATICALLY ASSUMES A DONATION OF $10. ONLY IF YOU WISH TO ADD ANOTHER DONATION SHOULD YOU THEN CLICK ONE OF THE DONATION AMOUNTS. There is a small admin fee which will be added to your $10. For example $10 will be $11.60 in total.
d. If you wish to do a fundraiser to ask friends or family to support your efforts, click on "Become A Fundraiser" during your profile set up and you can create your own fundraiser page. You can then share your Fundraiser page using the URL provided.
e. Each day or when you have time just enter your activity by distance. You can always go back in and log previous activity if you miss a day or two. We love to see photos of you out and about so, if you wish, you can add photos when you add your activity.
This is just for fun so whether you do 1 mile or 100 miles you are showing your support for United Way!
