Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the Trail To Recovery 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk taking place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, in the beautiful community park of Norman, Cleveland! Starting at 8:00 A.M., this exhilarating event is perfect for runners and walkers of all levels. Whether you choose the 5K distance or the 1 Mile Fun Run, you’ll be supporting a fantastic cause. Proceeds from the event will aid the Cleveland County Recovery Court Programs and local organizations dedicated to substance abuse and mental health services.
Participants in the 5K will receive a custom t-shirt (guaranteed for registrations before April 15, 2025), a unique finisher medal, a bib, and a timing chip. The 1 Mile Fun Run also comes with a finisher medal, bib, and timing chip, with t-shirts available for purchase. Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers, as well as the top three finishers in each age division for the 5K. The course is mostly flat and features a smooth trail, making it an ideal setting for an enjoyable day of fitness and community spirit. Join us for a memorable day of fun

JOIN US SATURDAY, MAY 10, 2025 AT 8:00 A.M. FOR OUR THIRD ANNUAL 5K AND 1 MILE RUN/WALK. TRAIL TO RECOVERY, INC. IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION CREATED TO SUPPORT THE RECOVERY COMMUNITY IN CLEVELAND COUNTY. PROCEEDS WILL BENEFIT CLEVELAND COUNTY RECOVERY COURT PROGRAMS AS WELL AS OTHER LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS WHO PROVIDE SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This is a trail run through a well maintained community park in Norman, OK. It is mostly flat with a few slight hills and consists of grass, sidewalk and some gravel surfaces. The course is smooth and safe for all runners and is often used for local high school cross country races.
PARKING/ACCOMMODATIONS: Parking is available on the west side of the park off of 36th Ave near Franklin Road. There is additional parking on the north side of the park on Franklin Road. Restrooms are located near both parking lots. Race day packet pick-up and post race snacks/drinks will be located at the large pavilion.
