This uplifting event is designed to benefit the Weekend of the CROSS and invites runners of all levels to participate in either the scenic 5K or the more challenging 10K race. The 5K route will guide participants along the picturesque Rock Island Greenway Trail, while the 10K option takes runners through Cook Park for three laps before returning to the start.
Kick off your race day at Trinity Methodist Church, located at 1000 Woodward Ave, where the atmosphere is sure to be filled with camaraderie and enthusiasm. All finishers will receive awards, and medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each category, as well as for the overall male and female winners. Organiser's Description
Trinity Methodist Church presents the 3rd annual race to benefit Weekend of the CROSS with a 5K and 10K option. This out and back race will take you through the north section of the beautiful Rock Island Greenway Trail (5K), to Cook Park to make 3 laps and back (10K).
Race start will be held at Trinity Methodist Church at 1000 Woodward Ave. Ruston, LA.
Finisher awards will be given to all participants as well as medals for the top 3 in each category and for overall male and female winners.
To be guaranteed a shirt, registration must be made before April 3, 2024 (11:59 pm). Shirts will be given on a "First Come First Serve" basis if registered after April 3rd.
Packet pick up will be Friday, April 26th at the Trinity office (1000 Woodward Ave) from 7:30am - 3pm. You can also pick up your packet on race day beginning at 6:30am.
Timing and scoring will be performed by McDuffie Timing.
Online registration closes on April 24, 2024 (11:59 pm). You may register in person on the day of the race beginning at 6:30am ($35 for the 5K and $40 for the 10K). Cash, check, Venmo, and PayPal will be accepted the day of the race.
