Get ready for an exciting day of fitness and community spirit at the 4th Annual Trinity Methodist Church 5K and 10K to Benefit Weekend of the CROSS on Saturday, April 26, 2025! This vibrant event will take place in Ruston, Lincoln, and features two thrilling race options: a scenic 5K route along the beautiful Rock Island Greenway Trail and a challenging 10K that includes three laps around Cook Park. The race kicks off at Trinity Methodist Church, located at 1000 Woodward Ave, at 6:30 am, with packet pick-up available the day before and on race day.
Participants will have the chance to earn finisher medals and compete for cash prizes for the top three finishers in each category, as well as for the overall male and female winners. Don’t miss your chance to secure a race shirt—register before April 2, 2025, to guarantee yours! Online registration closes on April 23, 2025, but you can still register in person on race day. Organiser's Description
Trinity Methodist Church presents the 4th annual race to benefit Weekend of the CROSS with a 5K and 10K option. This out and back race will take you through the north section of the beautiful Rock Island Greenway Trail (5K), to Cook Park to make 3 laps and back (10K).
Race start will be held at Trinity Methodist Church at 1000 Woodward Ave. Ruston, LA.
Finisher medals will be awarded for the top 3 in each category as well as cash prizes for the overall male and female winners in the 5K and 10K.
To be guaranteed a shirt, registration must be made before April 2, 2025 (11:59 pm). Shirts will be given on a "First Come First Serve" basis if registered after April 2nd.
Packet pick up will be Friday, April 25th at the Trinity office (1000 Woodward Ave) from 7:30am - 3pm. You can also pick up your packet on race day beginning at 6:30am.
Timing and scoring will be performed by McDuffie Timing.
Online registration closes on April 23, 2025 (11:59 pm). You may register in person on the day of the race beginning at 6:30am ($35 for the 5K and $40 for the 10K). Cash, check, Venmo, and PayPal will be accepted the day of the race.
