Join us for the exciting Tryptophan Trot, hosted by Olmsted Spirit on Saturday, November 23, 2024, in Strongsville, Cuyahoga! This vibrant community event will kick off at Nourishing Nook, located at 14150 Pearl Road, Strongsville, OH 44136. Participants can choose from a fun 2-hour group step-off at 8:00 AM or a 1-hour group step-off at 9:00 AM, making it perfect for all fitness levels.
The Tryptophan Trot features a scenic paved loop of approximately 2.2 miles, where you can run, walk, or bike at your own pace. The more loops you complete, the more raffle tickets you earn, with exciting prizes up for grabs! This FREE group run is all about community and purpose, as Olmsted Spirit supports local coffee shops while also giving back to charity. This month, the event will benefit Laura's Home, a mission close to the heart of Amanda, owner of Nourishing Nook. This is a paved route that is an approximately 2.2 mile loop. You pick your pace! You can run, walk, or even bike the route if you wish!
Run/walkers - You get compounding raffle tickets for each loop you complete!
1 Loop (2.2 miles) - 1 Raffle Ticket
2 Loops (4.4 miles) - 3 Raffle Tickets
3 Loops (6.6 miles) - 5 Raffle Tickets
4 Loops (8.8 miles) - 10 Raffle Tickets
5 Loops (11.0 miles) - 20 Raffle Tickets
6 Loops or more! (13.2+ miles) - 40 Raffle Tickets
(7 loops - 15.4 miles, 8 loops - 17.6 miles)
This will always be a FREE Group Run, however, Olmsted Spirit has a mission to_ "RUN WITH PURPOSE, RUN FOR A PURPOSE" _and this run group focuses on supporting awesome locally owned coffee shops. We then ask the coffee shop owner a charity/organization they love to support.
With this, we offer a $10 registration option that is split between providing gift cards from the coffee shop to raffle off for runners, and the other half will go to the charity selected.
