Get ready for a fantastic day of fun and fitness at the 3rd Annual Turkey Trot Tune Up and Kid's Turkey Dash on Sunday, November 17, 2024, in beautiful Portland, Cumberland! This exciting event not only helps shake off the cobwebs before the upcoming Turkey Trot races, but it also celebrates a special milestone—our 5th Anniversary! Participants can enjoy a scenic 3.5-mile run around Back Cove, and kids will delight in a lively 100-meter Turkey Dash, complete with adorable turkey headbands. The top three finishers in each category (Male, Female, and Non-Binary) will receive their choice of Starting Line Gear, making it a competitive yet fun-filled day for everyone.
With your registration, you’ll snag some fantastic goodies, including a pair of lululemon running gloves, running buffs, and more! We also invite strollers and leashed dogs to join in the fun, ensuring a great time for the whole family. As part of our anniversary celebration, we are proud to donate 50% of the proceeds to WinterKids, making your participation truly meaningful. Join us for our 3RD ANNUAL TURKEY TROT TUNE UP to celebrate our 5th Anniversary! Shake off those race cob webs before the Turkey Trot races come through later in the month and enjoy a lovely run around Back Cove (3.5mi)! We also have A FUN TURKEY DASH where kids will have turkey headbands and race a 100m before the start of the Tune Up Race. Top 3 M / F / Non-Binary will receive their choice of Starting Line Gear! Strollers and dogs on leash are welcome to join for the run! We kindly ask that you start at the back of the pack for everyone's safety :).

CLOSEDThe newest addition to our event, we're inviting kids up to 13 to participate in our Turkey Dash. A completely free event right before the start of the Tune Up so the whole family can be involved! There will be turkey headbands available for the kiddos for a little extra fun!
