This exciting event not only serves as a perfect warm-up for the upcoming Turkey Trot races but also celebrates a special milestone—our 6th Anniversary! Runners of all ages can enjoy the scenic 3.5-mile run around Back Cove, while kids aged 2-9 can participate in the delightful Turkey Dash, racing 100 meters in their adorable turkey headbands.
Join us for a day filled with community spirit and plenty of smiles! Participants can look forward to a post-race pancake breakfast, exciting raffle prizes, and exclusive discounts. Plus, in the spirit of giving back, 50% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to WinterKids, supporting children’s outdoor activities. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome, making it a family-friendly event for everyone! Organiser's Description
Join us for our 4TH ANNUAL TURKEY TROT TUNE UP to celebrate our 6th Anniversary! Shake off those race cob webs before the Turkey Trot races come through later in the month and enjoy a lovely run around Back Cove (3.5mi)! We also have a fun TURKEY DASH where kids(ages 2-9) will have turkey headbands and race a 100m before the start of the Tune Up Race. Top 3 M / F / Non-Binary will receive their choice of Starting Line Gear! Strollers and dogs on leash are welcome to join for the run! We kindly ask that you start at the back of the pack for everyone's safety :).

The newest addition to our event, we're inviting kids up to 9 to participate in our Turkey Dash. A completely free event right before the start of the Tune Up so the whole family can be involved! There will be turkey headbands available for the kiddos for a little extra fun!
