Organiser's Description
Ugly Dog is based out of Waterloo Recreation Area in Grass Lake, Michigan. The race begins with a swim in Big Portage Lake followed by a bike ride on amazing gravel roads, and finished with a trail run.
This event offers super sprint, sprint, and olympic distance triathlons, aqua bike, duathlon, and relay. With 12 different events there is something for everyone!
In the spirit of bike racing, drafting rules will not be enforced in the Ugly Dog events and aerobars are not allowed.
USA Triathlon Membership/One-Day PassYou will be asked to enter your current USAT Membership number during checkout. USAT Membership or One Day Pass is required to participate in this USAT Sanctioned event. One Day Pass fee is $15.
The venue for this event requires either a Michigan Recreation passport on your vehicle or a $10 one day parking pass to purchase onsite.
